This piece is a visual narrative of the Great Awakening of humanity, which is a collective elevation of consciousness occurring far and wide across the Earth. It represents a time in history where humanity awakens back to its original nature. This shift is inevitable whether it starts off spiritually, culturally, politically, or educationally for the individual. It doesn’t matter. The collective awakening arises simultaneously and organically across all aspects of life.
The large, ancient, blue-skinned being at the center is based on the legends of primordial beings said to come from Lemuria and Atlantis. The celestial beings in the sky are Water Bearers for humanity. I depicted the Cross of Atlantis as a sacred pitcher where cosmic light pours forth like pixie dust from the universe onto Earth. This illustration symbolizes divine gnosis granted to humanity, where they awaken to who they truly are.
The collective are shown sprouting like plants from the soil with auras to symbolize their divine rebirth. They are also surrounded by shiny crystals that represent higher frequency consciousness and connection with the natural intelligence of Earth.
This visualization is based on the concept of the Age of Aquarius, the new aeon humanity is supposedly entering. Aquarius represents the Water Bearer and is the archetype of innovation, liberation, and collective awakening. This symbolism is drawn from astrotheology and the Gospel of Luke (22:10), where Jesus speaks of a man bearing a pitcher of water, something that was seen as unorthodox during biblical times. This reference points to the transition into a new zodiacal age of humanity’s passage into Aquarian consciousness. In this depiction, the ancient beings themselves assume the role of water bearers, pouring spiritual knowledge back into the world.
Eight eight-pointed stars are depicted in the sky, an homage to The Star card of the Rider–Waite tarot, another Aquarian symbol. These stars represent hope, spiritual guidance, and renewal. They act as beacons, affirming that humanity is being guided through this transformation.
The painting also draws inspiration from the legend of Atlantis and the Hindu concept of the Yuga cycles, which describe time as cyclical rather than linear. This will not be the first time humanity progresses forward, as the legend holds, and lost wisdom will be retrieved from an ancient, higher state of consciousness. The Cross of Atlantis, inspired by Plato’s Timaeus and Critias, reinforces this idea of a once-advanced civilization whose knowledge is now resurfacing.
On the left side of the composition, Ancient Egypt is shown rising again, with a UFO descending near the pyramids. This is a visual nod to theories of extraterrestrial assistance and advanced ancient knowledge. On the right side lies the Garden of Eden, symbolizing heaven on Earth. These realms represent epochs in which humanity lived in greater harmony with divine intelligence. Humanity would not necessarily be returning to these states but possibly evolving beyond them toward an even higher expression of consciousness.
This painting is an expression of remembrance for our divine nature. It venerates the belief that humanity is at a pivotal time in history. My intention with this piece is to awaken and perhaps stir something ancient within the individual. To activate a subtle recognition that this moment is sacred and that humanity is remembering how to become whole again.
